I am over my head. I noticed a page and attempted an AfD. However, then I saw that the article had been speedy deleted recently, August 7, and then declined for Articles for Creation on August 29. See both these here. But then, 2 days later, this editor went ahead and created the article anyway. See here. Not realizing all this, I went ahead and nominated it for AfD, not sure if I did it right. The article is World Spiritual Foundation. I see now that Speedy Deletion would have been proper. I should have talked to someone involved, but did not notice its rather shaky recent history, and the history of this editor. Please tell me what to do. Tajudin69 (talk) 22:11, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- In short yes. In long youll need to go to the articles for deletion page, state that you withdraw your request and then nominate it using either {{db-A7}} or an automated method. Amortias (T)(C) 22:15, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- I have deleted the article. I'll also close the deletion discussion (which hasn't been listed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2014 September 5 anyway; see step three of WP:AFDHOWTO) with a result of "speedy delete". Huon (talk) 22:30, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you Amortias and Huon. Tajudin69 (talk) 22:55, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
