fails WP:COMPANY. References are mostly to directory sites or own website. Google hits are mainly on blogs, web forums and directory sites. noq (talk) 13:06, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really understand which references are "directory sites." The references are all from reputable sources, i.e. Vermont Business Magazine and Natural Living Magazine. There are only two refeferences to the Against The Grain website, and those are because they are direct quotes from the founders of the company. The reason that the Google hits are mainly on blogs and forums is that the gluten-free community exists largely online, and since the popularity of Against The Grain Gourmet is growing rapidly, there is a lot of talk about it. Please explain your reasoning to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Debaser12 (talk • contribs) 13:59, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - without prejudice. . Understanding that this is a fairly new topic that has gained notoriety over the last few years, Gluten-free diet that is, I still have to express a delete opinion for this particular company. First, the article comes off as promotional for the company. It does not establish its own notability as a company outside that it manufactures Gluten-free products, which in and of it self is not notable. There are hundreds if not thousands of small business that manufacture the very same products. Notability of the company must be establish in a way that makes this company different or more notable than companies A - B - C - D..... which also manufacture the same products. The coverage of the company, I was able to find, as shown here [1] does not show enough independent - in depth - national - creditable information to establish notability under Wikipedia's current criteria. Thanks. ShoesssS Talk 15:29, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete In my searches I could not find multiple reliable sources that provide significant coverage of the company. There are three awards listed, the first is a minor local award. I can not verify the second one. I searched the website provided but can not find any reference to "Against The Grain Gourmet". The third isn't even an award, it is runner-up to an award. All of this adds up to falling below the notability bar. --A new name 2008 (talk) 15:33, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
