- Comment: This [1] which you have used twice is an interview which is not considered reliable or independent. The other source doesn't load for me so I can't assess it. There is nothing inherently notable about being a " assistant pro-vice chancellor". Theroadislong (talk) 20:33, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for elaborating, Theroadislong. Naomab is vice-chancellor, not assistant, and not deputy. He is the head of a university which itself is notable, and has an article. I mean, yes, all editors on this draft have a COI, but the notability issue I really don't see. I'm aware of the RS situation with interviews. I used it only to support statements that I think are uncontroversial, that he grew up somewhere, that he studied something... Even in Africa the rector of a university has to have academic standing. The Namibian seems to be down at the moment. I'll add another source for the time being. Cheers, Pgallert (talk) 06:29, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- The source is back up, and the other issues are solved, I believe. To clarify again, the interview was not used to establish notability. Notability is derived from WP:NPROF, criterion 6. Theroadislong, would you please have another look? Thanks, Pgallert (talk) 12:15, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Please see WP:REFB and fix the citation style. The topic appears to meet notability guideline. Hitro talk 07:47, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
