Amir Atif moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Amir Atif, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – robertsky (talk) 07:25, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Advice

Hi, can I offer you some (unsolicited) advice regarding publishing new articles? I've noticed that you're translating articles from Arabic into English, and they are either being declined at AfC, or re-draftified after another editor moves them into the main article space past the AfC process.

Firstly, I would encourage you to only submit your drafts for the AfC review, and not attempt to publish them directly (or move, or have anyone else move, them) into the main space, until such time as you are confident that you understand the referencing and notability etc. rules. I'm not suggesting you've done anything wrong here, quite the opposite; I'm just making this point for you to bear in mind in general terms.

Secondly, regarding the said referencing and notability, the English-language Wikipedia has very high standards for both, and higher than many other language versions. What this means in practice is that when translating from other languages, if you simply rely on the exiting sources and citations, there is a good chance that they won't be adequate to publish here on enwiki. (I occasionally translate from other languages, and often come across this same problem myself.)

Hope this helps; if you have any questions or comments, ping me back. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:39, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
