Broadcasted

The Wiktionary definition of Broadcasted states the use is sometimes proscribed, so it should not be used. The word also appears on Wikipedia:Lists_of_common_misspellings/B

Broadcasted appears in some dictionaries, but others, e.g. Chambers state "Sorry, no entries for Broadcasted were found".
Broadcast appears in all dictionaries, and should be used as COMMONALITY - "Wikipedia tries to find words that are common to all varieties of English".

A November 2021 search for Broadcast gave over 221,000 uses, compared with a search for Broadcasted which gave just 88.
Of these 88, 16 are redirects to "Broadcast" articles, 14 refer to a 2015 Canadian TV award and 5 relate to a 1924 cartoon. The rest are in quotations.

if you redirect to the first search on this page (the census 2011 website), you should get the Muslim population percentage of Trichy - which is 15%, not 20%. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deepikarandeeppanditloveyou (talkcontribs) 18:42, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

are people aware of future harm

Hi there mate, I saw this and of course millions of other examples, and I can't help feeling bad for this lad, in that he may not be aware that he's leaving a permanent record of him trying to promote himself on WP that will stay there for the rest of his life. Do you think we could slightly tweak these messages or something else, to try to make them aware? Because ultimately they are harming themselves more than they're harming WP. Anyway, just a thought. Dr. Vogel (talk) 14:57, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dr. Vogel - whilst I understand your concern, I am at a loss to think of a wording that would dissuade editors like this one, who repeatedly tries to use Wikipedia for self-promotion. Since your post, his User-page has been deleted, again. He has been an editor for over 2 years but advice offered to him has always been ignored - any suggestions as to how we can dissuade his self-promotional intent would be appreciated - best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 19:00, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Caste

Why are you so much interested in defaming Christianity? Are you paid by any of those Sanghis?? We know how to live on our own.. Please don't insult my religion and Caste. Sanantoniokochi (talk) 10:51, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Religion in Nigeria

I am sorry that you thought I was vandalising the page. I only did that because it was pretty accurate especially since now as the country’s population is rapidly increasing. Not only the Muslims’ population in the north of the country has increased rapidly, but the Muslim population of my tribe, the Yoruba ethnic group, has increased rapidly. As a result, it is also starting to become true that my people are becoming a predominantly Muslim ethnic group. The Hausa people are just about all Muslim while the Igbo people are virtually all Christian. The Yoruba ethnic group is in terms of religion, are split based on how large the Hausa people and the Igbo people are to one another. The Hausa people being a little bit over twice as large as the Igbo people, the Yoruba Muslims are a little bit over twice as large as the Yoruba Christians. This is due to similar history. When the Fulani jihad happened to strike Hausaland, the Fulanis came for us right away or almost immediately. When Igboland became Christian, there was a mass conversion of the Yoruba people to Christianity. So do you now see why I re-edited the information? Abal126 (talk) 20:34, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mahalaxmi Express Edit

You talked About the edit on Mahalaxmi Express page was not from a reliable source, it was from a Times of India article which appeared in the newspaper between 30 May and 4 June, I don't know the exact date but the date range of when I read the article Aayutist11 (talk) 17:33, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No Aayutist11, my edit summary was "Rv unsourced changes" - nothing about reliable sources, as you hadn't included any sources. As for your post above, if/when you find the article, you can cite that as a source, and re-add your addition, but as when citing any periodical, it should cite the date and page number, or an URL to an on-line version, so readers can check your edit at any time in the future. Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 17:52, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings.

I have one small issue with you removing Cadolorian from list of musical scales and modes. So you removed it because it was linked to a draft page. I am fine with this. But I am curious as to why on the "list of musical scales and modes" article, 21 equal temperament is linked to an article that does not exist. It also does not show up when searching on the internet. Please explain why something that doesn't have any article gets to be on the page.

Sincerely, Aiden S.

Gounder page

The Edit is compliances with WP:CA. All sources and refs are backed by core articles. You should modify it or translate the page from Tamil version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikieye0 (talkcontribs) 10:43, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

கவுண்டர் is a original version of Gounder. But in English version, there are some mistakes. You've to change it or revise the edit. Wikieye0 (talk) 11:11, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
