no data later than 2011?

Wonder why ...

  • Article seems to be updated up to 2019 references in the first few paragraphs, but needs more - including plans/projections for future nuclear plants. To reach carbon-neutral goals, it seems to me that WP articles on nuclear power (US and worldwide) needs to be engaged further and updated more regularly. --2600:6C48:7006:200:B056:6066:1296:EF0B (talk) 01:11, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No new plants in the US built since 1978.

Just asking for someone to verify and update this. 1978-2022 is a LONG time since any new nuclear power sources have been developed into the US. Yes I lived thru 3-mile Island as did everyone. Chernobyl was MUCH worse. Ukraine still operates many nuclear plants, despite the current war (2022) with Russia. Despite long-standing news on "climate change", why hasn't the US. done something positive along this line? 2600:6C48:7006:200:B056:6066:1296:EF0B (talk) 01:33, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Latest NRC Map

I'm not logged in, but here's a 2019 map of nuke plants in the USA: https://www.nrc.gov/images/reading-rm/doc-collections/maps/power-reactors-operating.png SOURCE: NRC

Add states to the table of plants?

I think there should be a state column in the table of plants on this article, so it is easier to find them geographically. NRC Regions would work as well, but those are a little too technical. Also, people have different definitions of what the "midwest" is, perhaps different than the NRC, making it difficult to find plants by NRC region.

As a side note, this table isn't listed in the "Lists of nuclear power stations" box at the bottom of this article, which also has bad View/Talk/Edit links. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_power_stations WPL_XB70 (talk) 15:30, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the list is transcluded from List of commercial nuclear reactors#United States. There is no state column to keep the table consistent with the rest of the article. --Ita140188 (talk) 14:18, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Also lacking, I think a table showing providing an indexed commissioning date (actual or projected) and also a decommissioning date (also actual or projected) would be important to add to this article.
