Baraye... (Template:Lang-fa, meaning "For..." or "Because of...") is a 2022 protest song by Shervin Hajipour which has been described as "the anthem" of the Mahsa Amini protests in Iran.[1] He made the text and video of this song based on protest tweets with the theme "for...",[2][3] with the ballad's lyrics ending in "For women, life, freedom; for freedom, for freedom."[1]

Shervin's video of the song, published during the protests that had been ignited by the death of Mahsa Amini (a 22-year-old Iranian woman arrested by the morality police), was viewed nearly 40 million times on his Instagram page alone. It was later removed from his Instagram page and Shervin himself was arrested by security agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.[3]
