Sameera Khan is an American former Miss New Jersey and reporter for RT, and a current social media personality known for promoting “anti-woke” views and conspiracy theories.

RT career and departure

In 2018, while a reporter for the Russian state-sponsored network, Khan made a series of tweets glorifying Josef Stalin and the gulag system and calling for the return of his governance style. Khan was harshly criticized for expressing these views, including by RT itself, and the controversy led to her apologizing and leaving the network. [1][2]

Current activities

Khan has tweeted that The Beatles were created by the British government as a psyop to promote “wokeism”, and suggested that the infamous “butcher cover” was evidence that the band were linked to Shaitan. Although Khan did not specifically mention QAnon, her tweet was part of a broader trend of QAnon supporters and other conspiracy theorists speculating on the band’s alleged sinister ties. [3]

In 2022, Khan was criticized for “body-shaming” model Ashley Graham on Twitter in response to photos that Graham had posted of herself. Khan wrote that “The fat positivity movement is getting out of hand” and that “Studies show that poor, stressed-out men prefer fat women like Ashley Graham. Wealthier men prefer slender women like Irina Shayk”. Graham responded to Khan by encouraging her own Twitter followers to “Quote tweet this with a photo of you taking 'fat positivity' too far. I'll start.” Many other plus-sized women on Twitter began sharing their own photos in support of Graham and in response to Khan. [4]
