Some baklava for you!
Hi Doc James,
Happy New Year! I noticed you visited McMaster about a decade ago to host a workshop about translating high-quality work into freely available Wikipedia content. I was wondering if you could direct me to any current ongoing initiatives. In particular, I am seeking opportunities within Ontario. Best, IrateSpecialist (talk) 08:45, 1 January 2023 (UTC) |
- User:IrateSpecialist we at Wiki Project Med Foundation are still working to translate medical content into other languages per here. Would be happy to have you join us. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 13:24, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- User:IrateSpecialist thanks for joining the effort :-) We have this tool here to help fix references more quickly after translating.[1] Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 03:11, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I don't really understand how to use it. I inputted the title "Benzonatate" and the langcode "fr". It outputs "no changes". I found another tool there called "normalize references" but I don't understand what it does either. P.S. What languages do you cover? IrateSpecialist (talk) 13:37, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi Doc James, Looking backwards, looking forwards, best wishes for the New Year. Thank you for all you do to keep Wikipedia such an excellent resource for medical knowledge! (Regardless of UTC, it is still January 1 where I'm posting! (Another Saskabusher :) ) Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 02:20, 2 January 2023 (UTC) |
