- Jonathan Gleich (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (XfD|restore)
Provided valid references, Many people commented and where discounted as SPA's, I would think a editor should check links / articles THEN make a determination24.185.128.244 (talk) 17:29, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- As the instructions on the deletion review page indicate, many issues can be resolved by asking the deleting/closing administrator for an explanation and/or to reconsider his/her decision. While not strictly mandatory, this should normally be done first. Did you try, and if not, was there some special reason? Stifle (talk) 21:32, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Endorse. The comments most likely discarded by the closer as SPAs made some pretty terrible arguments anyways. I can't see any other way of closing that. Cheers. lifebaka++ 22:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Note – article has already been userfied at User:Lscappel/Jonathan Gleich. MuZemike 22:44, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Endorse and permit recreation only when that userfied page is reliably referenced and sourced in accordance with the biographies of living persons policy. The last thing we need is to restore an article that violates that policy, causing harm to the individual. MuZemike 22:48, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- A heavily tainted discussion, that. It's hard to argue with Juliancolton's close, but I wouldn't go so far as salting (if that is indeed what MuZemike is suggesting).—S Marshall Talk/Cont 22:51, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Endorse closure, but allow re-creation to a non-BLP violating version.--Oakshade (talk) 05:32, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Endorse closure - closing admin followed procedure. Note: the image has been nom'ed for deletion on Commons. --Admrboltz (talk) 15:22, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Endorse closure of a totally disastrous AFD. The userfied article links to one reliable source[1] with substantial biographic coverage of this individual (especially the third section). Some of the content could certainly be used somewhere, but I'd want to see more than one source with substantial biographic coverage before we had an article. Some of the userfied content is completely unsourced, e.g. the BBS stuff. The source at amusingthezillion.com may in fact be reliable, an editor should take it to the reliable source noticeboard and run it by the crowd there. So look for some solid sourcing, write a better version of the article, and recreation may well be viable. GRBerry 15:48, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
