Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, Tommerrigan, I'm Kafziel. I noticed you were new, or at least that nobody has officially welcomed you yet, so let me be the first to say hello, give you some tips, and share a few useful links.

Here are some links you might find helpful:

I know they're a little boring (okay... a lot boring) but they may come in handy someday.

I give every newcomer two tips for adding content: cite references whenever possible, and try to set aside any personal points of view. Aside from that, just be patient and receptive, ask questions whenever you need to, and have a good time.

Now that you have your own user name, you can sign your discussions on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically stamp your user name, the time, and the date. That will help other users reply to your posts. You may also want to fill out your user page to tell others a bit about yourself.

I hope this information is useful to you, and I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me for help. Good luck, and happy editing! Kafziel 00:40, 1 September 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Please try to keep your edits to conform to neutral view and and referenced facts...(I know it is hard to resist taking potshots at this guy... but there are a lot of other outlets on the internet to do so :-) Shushruth 01:03, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Kevin Spacey

[edit]

Hello Tommerrigan, and welcome to Wikipedia. Please keep in mind that information should be cited, especially when it is supposed to be a direct quote, as are your edits to the Kevin Spacey article. You may wish to check out Wikipedia:Citing sources for more details on citing sources. AuburnPilot 01:14, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to University of Michigan, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. -TheMile 00:52, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some good (Irish articles), some bad (Irish opponent articles)

[edit]

I see you're making positive contributions to Fighting Irish-related articles, but please refrain from sports-fan-bashing other teams and their related articles, like what you did to Joe Paterno. --Bobak 01:54, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
