Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.
Admin Coaching needs coaches!!! If you are an administrator, or even a generally experienced user, do consider signing up to be a coach.
Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.

In order to make a useful interlanguage welcome template, those involved in translation projects will be asked what English Wikipedia policies are most important and confusing to editors coming from other language Wikipedias.
Shreshth91 informed everyone that he will be leaving the Esperanza council as life is rather busy; his spot will be filled by the runner up from the last election, HighwayCello.

Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.
I hope that you have a wonderful New Year and will party all night long. If you don't celebrate New year at this time well then happy early or late New Year and I still advise that you have a good time tonight!!!¿Why1991ESP. | Sign Here22:44, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mytharria.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. The fourth paragraph of the introduction seems quite odd to me. Obviously the social implicaitions of radio are something to be addressed...but in the introduction? It just comes across as a very narrow intellectual discourse of social construct that doesn't really touch upon an introduction to radio.
I'm asking you to look at it...since I really don't know who else to ask and I would not feel comfortable making any changes.
Hello. I saw that you are a member of the Templates project, and thought it would be good to bring this to your attention. I have made a proposal that would take care of the userbos issues and the general clutter of the Template namespace. Please see it here and make comments conserning it. Thank you for your time. I need some advice as to how to go about what I consider an odious travesty. There is a crazy user that seems pretty determined on rewriting history and reinterpreting it from a lunatic's perspective and not from an accurate perspective. You have reverted it seems many moves I have made on articles that I as a native feel violate my identity on the net. The studies that are cited for instance to account for genetics of "north africa" are actually based on a sampling of 40 individuals from northwest and NOT north africa, that is caucasoid, contrary to the crazy sudani woman's insistence that egyptians and north africans are black, which reality shows are not..but the 40 mauritanians and moroccan bedouins cannot account for others in distant lands. It must be remembered that North africa is more than twice as large as europe. Now, the entire article also seems to be written from an anti-arab vein. It is repeatedly and without evidence asserted that north africans are in denial and claim to be arab while they are not?! surely a people knows its roots and denying them that is absurd, esp when an outsider does it and esp in the absence of facts. Again, applying a study of mauritanians and moroccans to a vast region like the southern mediterranean makes little sense to me, a native..as I am familiar with the people and culture. Now, to you it may seem irrelevant this deleting and reverting while to me it affects my entire being and i do in fact feel frail out of frustration. So, how am I to go about this mad person who is obviously on a mission to spread absurdities such as that sudan, a black sub-saharan country, is in fact north african!? though on maps, historically, politically etc it is not. This is a case of an inferiority complex, but here it has been taken to the extreme and is being projected onto history, a tiny person behind a screen with lunatic ideas is writing the history of my people inaccurately?! how do i contact wikipedia..and i do hope this project sinks, commoners should not be trust!
First, I would like to say "Hi!" :) I would like to know if I could receive some pieces of advice about making very good pages on Wikipedia. And I am sorry for the summary from Gakkou No Kaidan for the ghost RedPaper-BluePaper; I did that summary because I thought that it was a good thing to add at the page.
Hope to receive your advice.Goldenphoenix200719:50, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
12 August 07. Law is Visual:
Order in chaos: alphabetical indexing isnt in order except alphabetically. Imagine learning maths alphabetically: Imaginary numbers before Multiplication, etc.
Also 'comm-plete': 'chapter and verse' indexing: number all the paragraphs in wiki automatically.
Injustice is when you cant see it. The whole Knowledge EconomY (KEY) on-screen on one page: xyz. Vitology: the importances, etc. History 2.0.
Plese set something up linked to the UN OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) Project the first 300 million units of which are Open Source activated the last quarter of 07 world wide, etc.
Network programmers etc to this - the plannet needs good wishes (Gold or spirit boosting groups), connectivity (Blue groups), Complementary Alternative Medicine/CAM etc (Red groups), and Greenpeace etc (Green groups directories/pages) help.
Its your right to take responsibility for the KEY.
Thank you for any help you can give.
Order precedes Recognition.09:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You removed my corrections on Frankie Burke's page and restored information that was untrue and unverifiable placed by someone who has a personal issue with me and only did it for spite. I cleaned it up, deleted the unverifiable and corrected the misinformation. Please take note that I have researched this actor for the last five years. The information that user added was based upon a news article that mentioned nor even hinted at absolutely no names. That article was on my website. This person has been slandering Mr. Burke from Find-A-Grave to public forums to internet groups and anywhere that she can and its strictly personal. She knows nothing about Frankie Burke other than what I place on my website www.frankieburkeactor.com. Her information was completely inaccurate yet you put it back and accused me of wishing to "hide the bad". If you still insist on allowing her to abuse Wikipedia, I can put you in touch with Mr.Burke's son and he can verify the information himself... spost8260Spost826021:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
