I'm not the IP editor who posted the request. But to answer you question: probably not. Might be better to redirect 50+1 (and 50 + 1 and 50%+1) to Majority § Common errors. I don't see how that matters. It can be vague, incorrect, etc. It's still being used, as explained on e.g. the official website of the Parliament of the United Kingdom here: "A clause known informally as '50 + 1' holds that the parent club (i.e. the members' association) must hold a majority voting bloc in the affiliated corporation – hence the '50 + 1' moniker." As I wrote before, it refers to "50% plus a share", or more generally, 50+1 refers to 50%+1, as in, a majority. If visitors look up 50+1, they are either looking for the 50+1 rule or, more generally, the common erroneous manner of referring to a majority, i.e. majority#Common errors. Of which the (emphasis mine) "50+1 rule" is an example. Why not go with WP:CHEAP and help visitors who look up 50+1, by sending them to an - either, really - article with information. --2001:1C06:19CA:D600:3703:5187:2D6:191D (talk) 20:21, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Davis's book only gives the name "Nasty gory" making me wonder what the correct name was.
