September 18

This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on September 18, 2023.

Danusia Samal

This redirect is unhelpful for anyone looking up information about Samal, as her name is included only once as part of the cast list. Samal has since starred in the The Great and worked as a writer for Gangs of London and the upcoming Bodies. It's possible she'll have her own article in the future, but this isn't a particularly helpful placeholder in the meantime. Sock (tock talk) 15:01, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects related to the upcoming James Bond film produced by Eon Productions

Please delete these redirects. The target section for these redirects no longer exists in their target article.

Less bureaucracy, please. I see no reason to delete, and no better redirect candidate. Just leave it alone until the next film is announced. cagliost (talk) 15:19, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Swedish translation of work; not present in article. ArcticSeeress (talk) 14:06, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT activists

I’m nominating this redirect separately than those under § LGBT activist as it’s the only one I could find that used the plural activists instead of the singular activist. I’m taking it to RfD along with the activist-singular redirects (1) for consistency, and (2) as I believe, as it uses the plural form, List of LGBT rights activists could be a better target potentially. user:A smart kittenmeow 10:54, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As I said below, I agree that List of LGBT rights activists is the most appropriate target. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 11:04, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Common target with the others, breaking one off for singular vs plural seems like it just creates potential confusion. Darker Dreams (talk) 12:26, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with QuietHere - List of LGBT rights activists should be the target for all of these. SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 15:59, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT activist

These all seem (to me at least) like they should point to a common target. I’m therefore opening this RfD discussion to determine the best common target for these redirects. All the best, user:A smart kittenmeow 10:29, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As the creator of LGBTQ rights activist, it is my opinion that List of LGBT rights activists is the most appropriate target for all of them because "activist" clearly denotes a person and so I would expect the term to lead me to a page specifically about people.
Also, per the {{RfD}} template's presence on it, it appears that LGBT activists is also part of this discussion and should be added to the list. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 11:01, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I wrote that last part before noticing the separate discussion above. Personally, I don't see the point in separating them; if it were the difference between "activist" and "activism" then it would make more sense, but in this case I think they're essentially performing the same task. Война Слава

Not mentioned at target and no mention on Russian-language Wikipedia. Search engines do not talk about the topic of the article when you search "Война Слава". ArcticSeeress (talk) 09:02, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilove

Main to projectspace XNR - not likely to be used by general readers. #prodraxis connect 04:11, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Wrong

WP:WRONG is a seperate redirect, and I think that it makes more sense, but I want to build consensus. QuickQuokka [talkcontribs] 20:38, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:WRONG points eventually to m:The Wrong Version which is a piece of humour on the meta, lots of links from talk pages but a very different page to WP:correct which is a plea for everyone to consider policy rather than just their own opinions, with a rationale for doing this. WP:wrong is useful for linking in flowing text without needing to pipe, so I think both are useful. Andrewa (talk) 11:51, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
