Pont-Scorff (French pronunciation: [pɔ̃ skɔʁf]; Template:Lang-br) is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France.[3] It takes its name from the river Scorff, which flows through the town.

Geography

The town lies in the valley of the river Scorff. Historically, it belongs to Vannetais. The town is located 10 km (6.2 mi) north of Lorient.

Breton language

The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on 22 February 2008.

In 2008, 8.74% of children attended the bilingual schools in primary education.[5]
