Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MFE - MediaForEurope

[edit]

I went ahead and tagged it for speedy deletion. I don't think we need a full MfD discussion for something that was obviously just a mistake. Cheers. Crazynas t 08:57, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

thank you! Telco4 (talk) 09:13, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Telco4. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page MFE - MediaForEurope, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.signed, Rosguill talk 16:48, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry for any inconvenience but the user I'm dealing with doesn't seem to want to understand... in any case, I explained everything here. Telco4 (talk) 16:50, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your dispute with another editor is a separate concern: can you please address here whether you have any connection to Mediaset, or have received any money for your editing work to Mediaset-related or other articles. signed, Rosguill talk 17:15, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No I don't work for Mediaset, I'm only reporting official and documented information, I don't do Mediaset's interests. I apologize if I gave that impression. Telco4 (talk) 17:19, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you clarify what you mean by reporting official and documented information? signed, Rosguill talk 17:23, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I put official references in the pages, and here I put three links to prove what I did in MFE - MediaForEurope, Mediaset and Mediaset Italia (company) Telco4 (talk) 20:24, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks for clarifying. signed, Rosguill talk 02:02, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
have a nice work! Telco4 (talk) 05:05, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

April 2023

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wesoree. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Pomeriggio Cinque have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Wesoree (Talk) 21:10, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Pomeriggio Cinque, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Wesoree (Talk) 21:11, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I put the correct category, because all Mediaset's TV programs are owned by R.T.I. Telco4 (talk) 21:12, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Radio Monte Carlo, you may be blocked from editing. Wesoree (Talk) 21:12, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

hold up, I can help though, have you heard about the Teahouse? it's a great place for you to be able to know. As well, I believe that RTI is not the parent company and rather Mediaset is the parent company. Wesoree (Talk) 21:17, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Mediaset is the holding company, R.T.I. (acronym for Reti Televisive Italiane) manages all TV channels and services of the Mediaset Group (for example Infinity). You can see on the bottom of the official Website (mediasetinfinity.mediaset.it). Telco4 (talk) 21:20, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning: edit warring / disruptive editing

[edit]

Stop the reverts at Mediaset and MFE - MediaForEurope. Obviously your changes are not uncontroversial and so you need to gain consensus for what you are trying to do, and you really need to stop the baseless vandalism accusations ([1]). You have already received a warning above for disruptive editing; I am inclined to block you if you make another revert at these articles. Please seek a third opinion or use the dispute resolution noticeboard if needed. DanCherek (talk) 02:25, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

HI. I don't know if you read the discussion on Wikidata but there too the opinion of others went against it. I also showed him the sources and official documents (he didn't), but he still refuses to agree with me and continues to undo the changes. Telco4 (talk) 05:31, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It appears to me that a consensus has not yet been reached; discussion is still ongoing. Until you reach a consensus with JSH-alive, please do not edit war continuously over pages that are in dispute. WhoAteMyButter (❄️talk☃️contribs) 06:50, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@WhoAteMyButter Ok. But can I ask you to give a your personal opinion about this problem here? Thanks. Telco4 (talk) 09:04, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
