Template generating plain-text coordinates
This template appears to pull coordinates from Wikidata (property P625), but the coordinates generated within the infoboxes are plain text, not linked to geohack pages. Is there a way of fixing this, preferably in a way that uses {{coord}} and can be easily added to any other similar cases, and requires minimal change to the template logic? — The Anome (talk) 14:15, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please link to an example page where this is happening. I don't see a Wikidata call in the template, but there could be some magic happening. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:08, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is a tricky one, but I have fixed it for this infobox. This infobox calls Module:InfoboxImage, which defaults to "frameless" as the logo size; "frameless" displays images at the reader's preferred thumbnail size. However, as documented at that Module page, When "size", "sizedefault", and "maxsize" are not defined, "frameless" is added, which displays the image at the default thumbnail size (220px, but logged in users can change this at Special:Preferences) and is required if using "upright" to scale the default size. Until a moment ago, this template defined "sizedefault" and "maxsize", which made it so that the reader-friendly "frameless" was not applied, which made Module:InfoboxImage ignore any value of "upright". See mw:Help:Images for more details on the limitations of the upright option for images. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:23, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
