Trivia reference

[edit]

I added a link to a Men's Health article that talks about the procedure and quotes a professor of medicine. Mattgrommes 18:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia section

[edit]

If you want to remove the Trivia section of this page, please give your reasons. This seems like a perfectly valid thing to have on this page and it's supported by a quote from a medical professional. Mattgrommes 20:51, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biology

[edit]

I removed the line stating there is scientific evidence that the sinus clearing trick does nothing. It cited the ossification of the vomer article on Wikipedia, which does not mention this trick at all. 67.142.168.141 (talk) 17:00, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Men's Health is about as trustworthy a citation source as the National Enquirer. The whole sinus thing is as bogus as they come, and easily debunked: Try it. AltairIowa (talk) 04:26, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Wing of vomer

[edit]

Readily mergeable. Duplicate subject matter. Unnecessarily fragmented as two articles. Tom (LT) (talk) 21:36, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
