Question[edit]

Wondering if this month's name is connected to the pascha, in Norwegian called 'påske' - easter? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xactnoreg (talkcontribs) 23:30, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ancient Egyptian calendar and Coptic calendar were different![edit]

Ancient Egyptian calendar and Coptic calendar were different! (but the names of the months were the same!)

Ancient Egyptian month "Pachons" = March 16 - April 14 (but this is Julian calendar) = February 15 - March 15 (Gregorian calendar)

Coptic month Pashons = May 9 - June 7

so they were different! but this makes confusion! Böri (talk) 13:13, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Exactly same month. Used to migrate, now mostly doesn't. — LlywelynII 10:07, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Need for clarifiction of month name[edit]

The Name section says "name of the month of Pashons comes from Khonsu".

How? Nothing in this article or the Khonsu article explains how that could be; they don't seem to sound anything similar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drbobpgh (talkcontribs) 14:55, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
