I don't think there's enough to clearly distinguish e-research from e-science, I always just think of it as the australian term for e-science. Probably should just merge into the e-science article. Rakerman (talk) 16:45, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

e-Research should encompass academic disciplines which are not always called "science" - e.g. the humanities, arts & social sciences. However I agree the articles should be merged. Much of a decent eResearch article would be spent on eScience anyway. My preference would be to redirect e-science to an e-research article since it's the broader term. Just to note, it e-research also should encompass digital humanities as well. there are probably other areas that I'm not considering that fall under the umbrella of e-research. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 04:53, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
