Citations to Short Stories

[edit]

Throughout the table, I noticed a number of citation next to nominees that are links to the text. I feel like citations aren't appropriate in this case as citations are intended to allow "users to verify that the cited information is supported by reliable sources – improving the credibility of Wikipedia while showing that the content is not original research" (see WP:CS). Providing a citation that's just a link to the short story is unnecessary. Instead, we should use an external link to the source text, per WP:ELYES.
