Not free and fair election
[edit]Why does the lead fail to inform readers that the election was not free and fair, and that it's part of an authoritarian transition? Is it not misleading and a disservice to readers to make them think that this was a genuine democratic election when every single RS that reports on the election highlights that it took place in an authoritarian context? - Agree, the lead violates WP:NPOV by not actually reporting what sources say about the election. And the reactions section also only lists positive reactions, whereas I'm sure there are many sources that call this election out as the sham it is. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:17, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Sources calling this election a sham: [1], [2], [3]. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:21, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Rather than complaining about it here, and going to the trouble of tagging the article, why not just edit the intro yourselves? Number 57 21:21, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
