Cause of Death[edit]

We don't have a cause of death mentioned in this article. His bouts of alcoholism may have contributed. At times, during Queen for a Day, he slurred his words, gestured lethargically, leaned precariously close to the contestants and babbled almost unintelligibly during the interview segments. Overall, in spite of the rigged applause meter and Bailey's brash showmanship, he was popular with the women, of course, since he had convinced Ex-Lax, Hartz Mountain, Amana, Westinghouse and other major manufacturers of the time to contribute cash, services or products to the winner's daily take. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.92.8.189 (talk) 18:02, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
