The so-called 'revelations' of Fr. Benedict's innocence is now taken by large section's of media and public opinion in Kerala as engineered by the Church. Two respected Malayalam journals,Mathrubhumi and Kalakaumudi recently carried comments and articles on this. The Kalakaumudi issue dated 6th February, 2011 has cover story by Joseph Pulikkunnel, well known Christian activist and long time critic of the church establishment. It exposes a number of discrepancies in the Church's revised version of the case. This article needs expansion and thorough re-writing.
