Article deletion

Why wasn't this article deleted a year ago? The other article, which by the way at least mentions his baseball player short stop days was created in 2006. Looks like no one noticed, there were some additional details in this article, so rather then letting it get deleted, (also, it was too old for A10 in my opinion) I merged it into the older one. Monty ₈₄₅ 17:23, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
