despite its name

In England at least, a road tends not to be named after where it is but after where it goes. It's therefore not bizarre or noteworthy that Finchley Road isn't in Finchley. Same goes for Edgware Road. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.189.103.145 (talk) 18:14, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
