JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Reference

[edit]

In 1671, Hiro Nakamura in Takezo Kensei's armor disarmed eleven bandits by stopping time. The bandits then drew their bows at Hiro. Hiro mocked them by saying "MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!" This is the same grunt of effort made by Dio Brando (from JoJo's) during his The World stand (the supernatural power in the anime, manga, and video games) attack. Coincidentally, Dio Brando can stop time, just like Hiro Nakamura. JudgeSpear 21:31, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And Hiro and Ando are fans of JJBA as well. Will (talk) 08:30, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kensei's Death

[edit]

It looked a lot more to me that Kensei didnt save himself but that Hiro reversed his death by manipulating the space-time continuum, hence why he was squinting so hard and why Kensei looked completely surprised when he was revived. Anyone else care to comment? 208.96.65.105 05:28, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not really, or else he would have used his powers to reverse time to before he got shot instead. 75.16.184.195 06:45, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it was Hiro either. He looked just as surprised as Kensei (who may just never have seen his powers at work before). Slurms MacKenzie 15:42, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it's unclear who or what was responsible; I edited the article to note that his wounds heal while Hiro watches. Littlebluedog 16:18, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe he was squinting because he didnt have his glasses.69.118.144.236 18:33, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mohinder's Memory

[edit]

It says that his memory was erased, and that The Haitian found his way to Noah. Doesn't Mohinder call Noah and say he has a package for him, that should be arriving shortly? While his memory may have been erased, I think Mohinder may have had some part in connecting The Haitian and Noah again. Null537 12:55, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. This section has been edited to leave open the possibility that Mohinder and The Haitian plotted this, and that his memory may still be intact. Littlebluedog 16:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The online comic at nbc.com/heroes will fill you in on the rest (Ytoabn's Blog: http://ytoabn.blogspot.com/ 15:17, 2 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

or you could say, it is not clear on whether Mohinder and the Haitian were planing this, or his memeroy was erased69.118.144.236 18:49, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Goofs

[edit]

Although the name Kathleen (given name) is common in Ireland the pronunciation Kate-Lynn is not (more often associated with Irish Americans). It is possible but highly improbable (especially for a woman from Cork) that the pronunciation would be anything other than Kathleen (given name).

How could this best be rephrased and included on the main page? Probably excluding the sections in parenthesis. I'd include it myself but it feels like just the kind of addition of mine that usually gets cut to shreds with citation tags or original research criticism when in fact it paraphrases the existing page explaining the given name Kathleen. So I'm asking for help and preemptively explaining the comment here. -- Horkana 01:45, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is this really a "goof," though? The original commenter admitted that this pronounciation of "Kathleen" (or "Caitlin") would be possible, although rare. --Littlebluedog 07:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Essentially they used the American pronunciation. When I said improbable that is still something of an understatement, it is about as likely as an Irish person using American words like "bogus" or "awesome" in normal conversation. The writers goofed. -- Horkana 19:02, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They also say that they found Angela Petrellis fingerprint on the photograph but in the previous episode though she did hold it she was wearing gloves. So unless she is the killer who sent it to Kaito in the first place or her power is the ability to leave fingerprints while wearing gloves I would say this is a goof. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jargon (talkcontribs) 01:15, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

White Eyes

[edit]

Alejandro's eyes do not "glow white" after he grasps his sister's hands. His eyes go from normal to black to normal. 203.196.42.71 00:49, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ratings

[edit]

Hey everyone,

I added the ratings for this episode, but once again i'm going to ask someone to fix the page by putting a source/reference. Below i have put the reference:
