Proposed changes
[edit]I have updated the edit request below and have signed it with my personal account, which I have just recently created. I am an employee of Dana Incorporated and am just trying to ensure that recent and accurate information is included in the articles about our leadership.
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. Per WP:INTEGRITY. |
Information to be added: Prior to joining Dana in 2015, Kamsickas served as president and CEO of International Automotive Components (IAC)[1] for eight years. Before joining IAC, Kamsickas served in numerous senior leadership roles at Lear Corporation over 18 years.[2]
Kamsickas serves on the Board of Trustees of the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI)[3] and the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Toledo[4]. In addition, he served on President Trump’s council on manufacturing and job creation[5].
On December 16, 2019, Kamsickas was elected as Chairman of the Board for Dana Inc.[6], continuing to serve as President and CEO.

[edit]- Your edit request could not be reviewed because the claims made do not contain ref tags.
- When proposing edit requests, it is important to highlight in the text, through the use of ref tags, which specific sources are doing the referencing for each claim. The point of these ref tags is to allow the reviewer and readers to check that the material is sourced; that point will be lost if the references are not clearly placed.
- In the collapsed section below titled Request edit examples, I have illustrated two: The first shows how the edit request was submitted; the second shows how requests should be submitted in the future.
Request edit examples

---|
In the example above there are three references provided for the stated claims. But the text does not indicate, through the use of ref tags, which reference applies to which claim. Your edit request similarly does not provide ref tags indicating which source goes with which part of the text. The links between material and their source references must be clearly made, as shown in the next example below:
In the example above the links between the provided references and their claim statements are perfectly clear. |
- Kindly reformulate your edit request so that it aligns more with the second example above, and feel free to re-submit that edit request at your earliest convenience.
- The COI editor is also reminded that if they receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution they make, they must disclose their employer, client, and affiliation to comply with Wikipedia's terms of use and the policy on paid editing.
