Improvement/Rewrite?

I think this page would benefit from a rewrite, particularly to update the language presented. Also more details should perhaps be put in, such as how the SLMs work?

Ok, that's the page I was looking for. IMHO, I feel that it lacks comments about the classical types of SLMs, nematic, ferroelectric, and so on. Also it seems to lack something more about applications. --Patillotes (talk) 15:56, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
