Disabling auto categorisation

Is there away to avoid automatically adding the page this template is used on to nthe category Croydon Building and structures since it is leading to overcatgorisation of some pages. e.g. East Croydon Station, which already belongs in Croydon Building and structures, by virtue of already being in Railway stations in Croydon. I've removed it to prevent overcategorisation. The template should probably also not be categorised in mainspace. Kbthompson (talk) 11:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
