Expansion

[edit]

Can anyone help expand this article? If so I would greatly appreciate your help. I have created the article, but admit that it is limited at best. I have pretty much exhausted my sources. If anyone has The Red Flag Riots by Raymond Evans (University of Queensland Press, 1988), I think that that source could be used to greatly expand this article. I don't have access to it, though, so can't add much more to it. If anyone could add an image, that would add to it also.

I have a link to Raymond Evan's "The Red Flag riots" [1]. Also The Vulgar Press has released the book "Radical Brisbane" by Dan O'Neill which discusses the Red Flag riots.Samken (talk) 13:50, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The National Archives of Australia has just released their files on the Red Flag Riot outcomes, which includes newspaper clippings. Barcode: 335787. Could someone else look at this. I can't write this up I find it too distressing.Samken (talk) 14:40, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to a contemporary newspaper editorial [2] similar events occured in the United States (New York and St. Louis) in November 1918. It would be good to see a paragraph or seperate article covering these events. Does anyone have some good information? Of interest is a New York Times article from November 1918 [3]. Anyone have any published non-primary material on this? --Devobaby (talk) 07:08, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
