She used to go around 'dehaunting' houses for people. She and her second husband, Charles Beatty, invented three-dimensional chess, but nobody seems to have played it much She gave us good advice about coping with unwanted psychic phenomena, inviting us to lunch at the Albany to discuss these matters and drank a bottleful of gin while we were there.
