The article should be split in 2 separated articles (perhaps Bank of Crete (1898–1919) and Bank of Crete (1980–1999))

The Bank of Crete (1898–1919) was created on Chania in the former autonomous Cretan State and have been wholly acquired, and subsumed by the National Bank of Greece in 1919.

The Bank of Crete (1980–1999) was established in 1980, and was sold to the Eurobank Ergasias in 1999.

The two banks don't have anything in common except of the same name.--Nikosguard (talk) 11:31, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
