Founders of Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts[edit]

There still remains a link to Ron & Elaine Birkby as founders of AADA, however that link now leads to the main page which no longer contains any reference to the founders. Is there a reason why this reference was removed?

I am Elaine Birkby and I co-founded AADA in June 1983. The original reference to Ron & I as founders carried sketchy information and was not supplied by either Ron or myself. If you are interested in having an accurate history of AADA I could supply same.
