[edit]This article is the result of a wholesale removal of the info from the Tilbury article. I shall be doing some radical rewriting to make it more coherent Peter Shearan (talk) 06:09, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- The work is now completed. It will no doubt need some additional references - most of the info comes from one of the refs (noted as timeline). Wiki recommends not using lists - hence the reduction of the TV/film section Peter Shearan (talk) 07:56, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Roman sea wall
[edit]I've added a fact tag to the statement that there has been an embankment at Tilbury since Roman times. I'm not aware of a source that places it this early. Rjm at sleepers (talk) 11:01, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
