Notes[edit]

Memorials and commemoration

In commemoration of the 240th anniversary of the Russian victory, a panoramic painting representing the battle was installed in the Friedland Gate of Kaliningrad. The battle is also commemorated on the Transnistrian ruble. The old village of Gross-Jägersdorf was abandoned in 1945 and reestablished 5 km southwest of Mezhdurechye (Norkitten), in municipality of Svoboda (Jänischken, Jänichen between 1938–1945) in Chernyakhovsky District.
