Does this mean he received his doctorate in 1984, or that he began his research then—or does that year have some other significance? (I'll now use an "en dash" to separate my WP signature from this, just to show what a serious editor I am.) – AndyFielding (talk) 10:03, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
