Untitled

[edit]

YOU FORGOT TO MENTION: Robert Redford Produced Edward Burns second project, She's the One - with Cameron Diaz and Jeniffer Aniston. It was done on a budget of one million dollars, primarily due to the success of Burns first project, The Bother's McMullan. For the Theme song, Ed Burns approached Tom Petty, of Tom Petty of the Heartbreakers. Petty asked to see some footage of the movie before he would write the theme song. After seeing what Burns had with She's The One, Petty agreed to do the whole movie score. The theme song by the way was Walls. Ed Burns is also married to Modle Kritsy Turlington and has two daughters.

Lack Of Appropriate Balance

[edit]

This article is out of whack in terms of proportion. The lede identifies Burns' WP:NOTE as an actor, director, and so on - yet the career section consists of three short paragraphs where the personal life section - sourced though it is - is twice as long. The latter section needs to be trimmed in proportion to the lede - birth, education, marriage - these are the usual and relevant personal facts in an encyclopedia. The section as written sounds like a tabloid article and needs to be trimmed.

New York Family History Question

[edit]

It is my understanding Mr. Burn's paternal, extended family, either present or previous generations, has a demonstrated career loyalty to the New York City Fire Department. Is this an erroneous bit of trivia I have somehow encountered, perhaps in light of the populism attendant upon the Fire Department in the aftermath of 911? Please advise, as well as perhaps include in the profile. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Prime-daedalus (talkcontribs) 00:55, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
