A tag has been placed on File:Liverpool 1892-1893.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This image has no source at which to verify its information, including the date, which would establish the license. Awadewit (talk) 01:27, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:File:Liverpool 1892-1893.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eastmain (talk) 05:08, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FA Cup

[edit]

Shouldn't the table include "R6" for the FA Cup 6th Round, and not "QF"? The quarter-final technically doesnt exists in the FA Cup, its called "Round six", according to that logic it should not be "R5" either, but "R16" if we use that Champions League format. There is also "R6" in the "Key" sectiom, but it is never used. At the other side, there is "R5" used for League cup quarter-finals instead of "QF" which is also wrong since "Round 5" does not exist in the leage cup, so there is inconsistency. Competition names

[edit]

Shouldn't there be a note explaining that CL (Champions League) didn't begin until 1992-93? Before then it was known as the European Cup, but more importantly, only domestic league winners could enter, and it was a straight knock-out format. By the same token, the current Europa League (previously the UEFA Cup and before that the Fairs Cup), took the 2 or 3 clubs immediately below the champions before the Champions League began, but clubs below these when the top 3 or 4 entered the Champions League. 78.144.205.77 (talk) 15:23, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cup Winners Cup demise

[edit]

As the CWC hasn't existed since 1999, shouldn't there be a blank in that column after that year? A dash implies that the competition still existed but Liverpool didn't qualify. 78.144.205.77 (talk) 15:23, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Charity/Community Shield

[edit]

There are no runners up, so the "RU" is not appropriate. It's a single game with one winner and one loser. 78.144.205.77 (talk) 15:23, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What would we put in its place? Mattythewhite (talk) 01:00, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Current season.

I think we should have the stats for the current season.11cookeaw1 (talk) 14:33, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
