LtGen Love was the prime example of a politically motivated Marine Officer and General. While he have seen combat, he was one of the few that never received a combat award. There are two types of Marines, warfighters and politicians. He is the latter. Additionally, he never commander a deployable infantry battalion. Therefore, that would make make him not eligible for a star much less the rank of Colonel.
Awards
[edit]He does not rate the Marine Corps Combat Instructor Medal/Ribbon as he never attended the course which granted it. This guy is a fake. 2600:1700:7740:B110:5535:76F7:DF68:DE08 (talk) 16:17, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
