Is the memorial a stone or a stupa?
[edit]I visited the castle site today and I could not find a stupa, only a stupa-like building, some distance from the presumed site of the castle. There WAS a stone marker nearby, also next to Nagashima junior high school, by the sports field, but it was a typical Japanese stone marker, not a stupa. Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese kanji. Is that what is being called a stupa? I will drag my Japanese-speaking wife along next time to check it out, but if anyone knows, please either give the location of the stupa or change "stupa" to "marker".
