Many rivers list which tributaries they arise from. The Saskatchewan River is fed at its longest by the South Saskatchewan River, and that is fed at its longest by the (don't entirely remember) Bow River (might be the Hay River). The Wikipedia page for the South Saskatchewan lists these details, with citations. If you look there, you will find the information necessary to complete this change.
