Rainwater

Rainwater Madeira (an important variety of Verdelho) should be discussed in this article. Badagnani 23:59, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rainwater Madeira is a style of Madeira and is discussed on the Madeira page. 71.180.29.45 (talk) 20:41, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs Photo of the Grapes

I added a photo of Madeira wine which is made with Verdelho grapes, but the article needs a photo of the grapes. Geoff (talk) 00:31, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gouveio and Verdelho

Currently, Gouveio redirects here. OCW (p. 319) states that the Gouveio/Verdelho of Alentejo and Dão is not the same variety as the Verdelho of Madeira and Australia. Instead it is supposed to be the same as Godello of Spain. However, VIVC has separate entries on Godello and Gouveio so I'm not sure if it is correct to redirect Gouveio there, but in any case a redirect to "common" Verdelho (of Madeira fame) doesn't seem correct.
