Much of the content in this bio has been copied or closely paraphrased from Yoram Wind's curriculum vitae - which explains why the article sounds promotional. Parts of it are also potential copyright vios. Other parts are totally unsourced.

There is no doubt that Yoram Wind has made a major contribution to the marketing discipline with his scholarship and role as an educator. His contribution, which is massive, is not easy to summarise in a short article. Nevertheless, a concerted effort to locate quality sources should be a priority. I have added a few sources and corrected one factual error.
