Autopatrolled

Has created 50 articles over the past year, the vast majority (all?) well-referenced and with no outstanding maintenance tags. This relitigation of a minor 2021 dispute is the only controversy she's been involved in over that timeframe. I notice that she has put in a few inappropriate external links to YouTube, but if those were too minor for previous patrollers to change, they're probably too minor to hold up this user right. I think it's time for enhancing the rights of one of the most active contributors in the field of Badminton in Wikipedia, who has created close to 500 articles. Thankyou. zoglophie•talk• 16:05, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Prolific article creator, has solid grasp of music notability guidelines. Only one article of theirs, Never Falter Hero Girl, has been removed from mainspace the past six months or so, which is a great batting average. Mach61 (talk) 17:02, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have been contributing to Wikipedia since the beginning of 2021 in the domain of biographies, particularly those of Islamic scholars, academics, and literary figures. Several of my drafts were approved in AfC, and several of my articles have been marked as reviewed by new page patrollers. My articles include Abdullah Hasani Nadwi, Abdul Khaliq Madrasi, Abul Kalam Qasmi Shamsi, Amjad Najmi, Ahmed Ali Badarpuri, Ibrahim Balyawi, Kafeel Ahmad Qasmi, Karamat Ali Karamat, Mahdi Hasan Shahjahanpuri, Muhammad Ismail Katki, Sharif Hasan Deobandi, Sirajussajidin Katki, and Wahiduzzaman Kairanawi.  I am asking for an autopatrolled flag since I understand the notability requirements. I believe that my articles don't require patrolling currently, and the load of new page patrollers should lessen. Khaatir (talk) 17:42, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd endorse this request given my experience with this user through my outreach activities. Values feedback and is good at learning and content creation. Best regards, ─ Aafī (talk) 07:48, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Patroller Usedtobecool thinks this individual would be a good fit for autopatrolled. Britfilm has 600 articles in the past year (~80 in the queue right now) and I am not seeing any deletion controversies. Articles are not massive but they're using proper sources and I don't see what NPRs can do except marking them reviewed. I have no comment on this and am just copying it over. –Novem Linguae (talk) 02:08, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Was previously autopatrolled on their old account. Received it temporarily on their current account but it expired. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 01:02, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Created over 50 articles. None of them declined/removed. All articles survived AfD. I see no reason to push my edits to the backlog and pending hassles of NPP. Twinkle1990 (talk) 16:03, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: AfC reviewer and autopatrolled were revoked in June 2023 as a result of this AN/I thread. Previous autopatrolled denial: July 2023. DanCherek (talk) 07:56, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@DanCherek in nine months, people improve their lot. Twinkle1990 (talk) 11:06, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@DanCherek further the denial of July 2023 reads "This isn't a "never", but you have some things to work on." Please count the age difference between the denial and now. Twinkle1990 (talk) 15:19, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • oppose requests time passed since denial but no indication conduct and temperament have improved since request for no action in my inactivity where I can't defend myself, which is similar to prosecuting a death man who can't defend. Given the discussions at ANI (disclosure, Involved) I have concerns that baseline knowledge haven't improved either. No need shown for the right. Star Mississippi 02:54, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When was the last time you inspired an editor here? You revoked my AP right and now you are again voting oppose? Don't be too rude, instead you should focus on NPP backlogs. Twinkle1990 (talk) 16:44, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. The good thing about autopatrolled is that the only people it really matters to are the new page patrollers, not the person requesting it. I think the concerns raised by multiple admins are valid and can be addressed in time and denying this request is the best option at this point in time. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:56, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Hey man im josh. Inspiring words by you. Now I am feeling that I really don't need it unless someone gives. As my article creations are undoubtedly standing well, I really don't need to care about the patrolling backlog. Thanking you a lot. Twinkle1990 (talk) 16:47, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights Hello. I have been nominated for becoming a new page reviewer based on my edits. I believe based on my number of page creations and track record I fit the criteria for having my account becoming autopatrolled. Rahammz (talk) 13:44, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I've created over 250 articles and 21,000 edits over the two years I've been on Wikipedia. I want to reduce the backlog so that other NPP reviewers will have a less of a hassle reviewing my pages (I'm a NPP reviewer myself). Thanks! 141Pr {contribs} 17:09, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Praseodymium-141. Looked at about 10 articles, and while they're mostly stubs, they're really well-executed stubs. One question before I grant autopatrolled: do you have a user script to double check source quality? In Holmium(III) oxalate, you cite a predatory journal (the first source). No further problems detected like that. Please ping on reply. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 10:04, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Femke: Hey there! Yes, I do have a user script to double check source quality: this one. In regards to the predatory journal, I didn't notice it was one until a few days later - I'll try and find a better source for that instead of the one from scirp.org. Thanks! 141Pr {contribs} 18:27, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done —Femke 🐦 (talk) 19:49, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have created many clean pages without maintenance tags on them. This of course wasn't easy as I had to spend months learning how to create pages by visiting the Teahouse (a place without a sip of tea) to avoid embarrassing and suffocating the pages I create with maintenance tags overdose. Having this right will help improve this encyclopedia and lessen the work of those who review new articles. Tapmani (talk) 09:19, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
