ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:33, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

- Many parties have actually started local nomination contests already, so there’s a valid reason to have this page be published. Having this page up will keep all candidate nominations up to date on a single page. I just haven’t added them in yet as I haven’t finished redistributing to the new seats (I was hoping having it published would result in more users helping in the edit)
- If you looked at the Talk page of the upcoming federal election, you’d see many people would mention how both the CPC and PPC have already started electing candidates for ridings. I assumed you checked that section while also knowing there were already nominations, hence my expectation that this page could be approved. CJJ400 (talk) 04:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- I'd also that if you go to https://www.elections.ca/WPAPPS/WPR/EN/NC and filter by all nominations after 2021, you'll see (on top of the byelections) parties officially nominating their candidates. Therefore, there's a valid reason for this article to be posted as there is already ample information that should be able for the public to easily see. CJJ400 (talk) 23:48, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Candidates of the 45th Canadian federal election (May 1)

- I'm unsure on the assessment that the article is too soon to be made, the article for the 2019 Election was made in March 2018 (20 months), the 2022 Ontario election article was made in October of 2020 (20 months). Candidates are already being selected, meaning there is a purpose in documenting who is currently nominated to be a candidate. With both factors of candidates being selected, and the past timelines of candidate pages, I don't see why this article is too soon. CJJ400 (talk) 02:31, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
