The Spain Cup (Spanish: Copa España) is a planned annual 2nd-tier level national cup competition for Spanish professional basketball teams, that is organized by Spain's 2nd and 3rd-tier level professional league, the Primera FEB and the Segunda FEB. It will played for the first time in the 2024–25 season.

History

On 24 May 2024, the Spanish Basketball Federation announced the creation of the new Spain Cup with the aim to replace the Copa Princesa de Asturias and the Copa LEB Plata by merging both competitions. It will make its debut in the 2024–25 season.[1]

Format

40 teams from Primera FEB and Segunda FEB will join the competition in its first stage, and will be divided into 8 groups of four teams.

The group winners will join the quarterfinals where the four winners will finally meet at a Final Four.[1]
