Even though it belittles the sensationlism of the raid it should probably be stated that the diamonds on display had been swapped for replicas the day before the raid. For instance sentences like "One of the diamonds on display during the raid was a pear-shaped rare blue diamond" are incorrect as there were no actual diamonds on display during the raid. See the film on You Tube for confirmation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlp2CSMSaWY - last 45 seconds of the clip. And BBC news from day of raid. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/1010974.stm - Throughout the entire article one is lead to believe that the gang got very close to the real diamonds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.217.252.132 (talk) 05:31, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The "Operation Magician" section talks about robberies earlier in 2000 and then mentions "fifteen months after", suggesting this was shortly before the raid on the dome itself. The timing makes no sense. Please can someone explain / correct this.--David Edgar (talk) 22:55, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
