Isoton is a telecommunications company founded by Greg Steer[1] in 1988. The company is headquartered in Australia, with international offices in Singapore and Indonesia. It is specialized in developing and managing carrier network software and systems.
History
[edit]The company was established as a telecom solution provider in 1988. In 1992, ISOTON introduced the first ISDN PRI-based mass-calling IVR platform. The years 1992 - 1997 marked the launch of the world's first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and sub-brand.
In 2002, ISOTON deployed an enterprise wholesale management solution, and in 2006, the company released an intelligent network-based Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE). From 2006 to 2013, ISOTON undertook the deployment of Vodafone TPG MVNE. In 2017, the company deployed U Mobile Malaysia.
The years 2020 and 2021 saw ISOTON becoming GSMA 5G ready and launching an AI/ML augmented decision-making product called IMZI, respectively. In 2022, ISOTON started its operations in India.
