The 2024 New Mexico United season is the sixth, and current, season for New Mexico United in the USL Championship, the second-tier professional soccer league in the United States.

U.S. Open Cup

As a member of the USL Championship, New Mexico United entered the U.S. Open Cup in the Round of 32.[16] It was announced by the U.S. Soccer Federation on April 18, 2024, that New Mexico United would face off against Real Salt Lake, a member of the MLS, the first tier in American soccer.[17]
